Objectives
So here is my caching diary for 2025. Clearly this one is still in progress, but never mind. I might as well start the post and update it occasionally as the year progresses. 2025 got off to a moderate start. I am still settling into living in the East Midlands instead of Milton Keynes, if I’m honest. Things just don’t feel right yet. However, I’ve been doing my best to get out and about a little bit. So at the first posting of this page, the highlight so far has been a trip to Crewe and Winsford to get a ridiculous number of finds (1381) at the Cheshire Cat series. I am looking forward to a trip to the Netherlands in April, a week in the Lake District with Daughterus Maximus in August and also a trip to Piratemania and the UK Mega in July. Oh, and of course there is a London Calling event and the Great British Geocaching Party (in April and June respectively). Both of them are going to be Block Parties, meaning a new icon to add to the list. London Calling is also going to have a GPS Maze.

Summary
So there we have my in-progress 2025 Caching Diary. So what have I actually achieved so far:
- A total of 1,910 finds
- No new countries
- A new personal best of 1,381 at the Cheshire Cat
- 6 days ticked off my Shifty Fifty Challenge
- 1 day of more than 100 finds
I am going to attempt to become eligible for the 360 Degree Challenge cache in Northamptonshire, because that sounds reasonable. While I’m at it, I may attempt to colour in Herefordshire and a few more of those little counties in South Wales. Depending on the schedule later in the year I might also have a pop at Cornwall and Devon. Who knows? There’s plenty of year ahead of me.
