Wales
Wales is, to be quite honest, not a place I’ve been to very many times. I don’t know why. Although I think there a few trips while I was little and definitiely a field trip when I was doing ‘A’ Levels. But in terms of places in the UK, it is one of my least-frequently visited places.
Since I became a geocacher, I have visited a few times. So what trips have I made?
- A trip to Wrexham and Chester for the Chester Marathon in 2014.
- A trip to Snowdonia in 2015
- A weekend at the Llangollen Mega in 2016 (see UK Mega 2016 Llangollen)
- A “boys and their flash motors” trip to North Wales and South Wales in November 2016.
However, as the UK Mega in 2025 is near Bristol, I see an opportunity to colour in a few more counties by driving across the south, if nothing else. Watch this space later in the year.
